SUSTAINABILITY AND CORE VALUES
Gaston Luga was founded on the realization that the market lacks backpacks that are not only functional and versatile, but also have timeless design. Founded in Stockholm, we not only strive to meet market needs, but also commit to incorporating our Scandinavian roots into the brand - with sustainability being one of its cornerstones.

From day one, we have strived to adopt a conscious mindset and contribute to a better planet. For us, this is an ongoing process. To achieve this, we have continuously refined our processes.

We ensure that all our products are ethically made. We ensure that all materials used, as well as our transportation methods, have as low a climate impact as possible. For example, we use vegan leather instead of animal leather in all our products. All box packaging is also made from FSC certified paper and printed with soy ink.

In addition, we have also been a carbon neutral organization since 2019, with our partnership with Carbon Footprint Ltd to offset our carbon dioxide production by donating to the Escarpment Environment Conservation Network (Esconet) to support a local forest restoration project in the Great Rift Valley in Kenya.
